Kristin Harrell is an instructional designer with the Center for Teaching Excellence at USC where she helps others develop skills for incorporating technology and creativity into their instructional approaches. She has a Doctorate in English and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from USC. She also has a Masters in Cultural Studies from the University of New Mexico. Her current interests focus on Active Learning, emerging tech, and immersive environments in learner-centered education. She is dedicated to helping educators communicate to students in accessible, engaging, and innovative ways.
