Service History: US Navy: commissioned as a surface warfare officer in June, 2008.  Served on active-duty from 2008 to 2020 and continues to serve as a reservist.  

Education/Major(s): BS in Criminology (2007) and MBA in Business Administration (2015)

From Pensacola, Florida, Ken attended Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI, following graduation from Florida State University.  He graduated from OCS in June 2008 and was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy.  Ken deployed in 2011 and 2019 in support of operations in the CENTCOM AOR.  After returning from deployment in 2019, he affiliated with the Navy’s reserve component and came to work for the University of South Carolina.  Ken supports USC’s veterans and military-affiliated students by overseeing VA education benefits and the veteran’s services office.
