Student Government Association

Officers and Student Representatives of the SGA are elected by the student body in two separate elections held in the fall and spring. Officers and representatives of the SGA work closely with the administration and faculty to represent student interests and viewpoints. The student body is composed of all registered students at the University of South Carolina Lancaster campus.

What We Do

The SGA provides various programs and functions throughout the year, charters clubs and organizations, and prepares, submits, and administers the budget for student clubs, organizations, publications, and athletics.

Fall 2024 Elections

Fall 2024 elections for SGA President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer will be held on Apr 1st. Nominations to become an SGA officer are due Mar. 20^th and voting will take place from Mar. 22^nd - 29^th. To qualify for President or Vice-President, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed 15 hours by the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester.
