Student Conduct and Disciplinary Information
Each campus has established procedures for dealing with student misconduct and academic integrity violations on their campus. Faculty should consult with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs on their campus if they suspect a violation has occurred.
Faculty teaching a Palmetto College course for Liberal Studies or Organizational Leadership, should report any incident of suspected academic dishonesty via Incident Report link on the Office of Academic Integrity website. Examples of violations include: giving or receiving unauthorized assistance; unauthorized use of materials or information of any type; unauthorized access to the contents of any test or examination or the purchase, sale, or theft of any test or examination prior to its administration; use of another person’s work or ideas without proper acknowledgment of source, etc. The process for investigating alleged incidents of academic dishonesty is covered on the OIA website, and within policy “Academic Responsibility,” STAF 6.25.
