In fall 2010, WWBI developed and launched a creative writing workshop for 7th and 8th grade students in Pre-functional and Intermediate English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) levels at Northside Middle School. The objective of the workshop was to help students improve their English language writing skills through creative writing exercises. In addition, the program guided students in developing a short story, poem, or other creative prose that they could present to their parents as part of a creative arts evening.
