In spring 2011, WWBI partnered with Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands and Palmetto y Luna's "La Tropa" (a Latina writing/acting group) to write and produce a Spanish-language adaptation of "The Vagina Monologues," entitled "Migra, Amor, y Migrañas" ("Immigration, Love and Migraines"). The play was comprised personal narratives detailing the immigration experiences if the cast members. It was held on April 30, 2011 in Manantial de Vida Lutheran Church, with food from Los Poblanitos and live music by Latin music band Los Dimas. The newspapers El Horizonte and El Latino provided in-kind advertising donations for the event. Eighty people attended this event, which was coordinated by WGST graduate student Anna Walton.
