Background
Dr. Gordon Jones is co-founder of The ValidIDe Project. An entrepreneur, he spent more than 20 years in healthtech and emerging technology fields. Additionally, he spent six years in the military, serving two tours with the 82nd Airborne Division.
Research
The primary focus of Jones' research involves leveraging the capabilities of blockchain in all aspects of business and government.
Teaching
Jones' teaching philosophy is: As I Teach, I Learn. He does not teach theory; he teaches functional application. Jones' teaches students how to take ideas and turn them into reality and how to then generate revenue from the idea — whether as a new product or service in an existing company, or a startup out of the gate.
Personal
Jones and his wife have a foundation that has created the ApparoAcademy.org preschool for medically fragile children through an integrative model of learning,
therapy, and socializing with fellow students. They are adoptive parents of five special
needs children.
