Effective January 25, 2023, NIH has issued the Data Management and Sharing (DMS) policy to promote the sharing of scientific data. Data management is the process of validating, organizing, protecting, maintaining, and processing scientific data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and quality of the data for its users.
