Chen Zhou is a Business Partner Foundation Dean’s Fellow and associate professor of marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
She is currently teaching marketing analytics at the graduate level and marketing research at the undergraduate level at the University of South Carolina. She has experience teaching marketing research, global marketing and customer analytics at the undergraduate and master levels in Pennsylvania State University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Chen uses quantitative methods to study managerial research problems. Her research seeks to explain organizational relationship management decisions and establish the link between these decisions and performance consequences in the service sector and related contexts. Her work has appeared in Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Decision Sciences.
Chen has research interests in services marketing, service competition, inter-firm relationship, marketing-operations interface, non-profit marketing, salesforce management, digital marketing strategies.
