The Ph.D. Project was founded upon the premise that advancements in workplace diversity could be propelled forward by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. Today, their expansive network of supporters, sponsors and universities helps African Americans, LatinX or Hispanic Americans and Native Americans/Indigenous peoples attain their business Ph.D. and become the business professors who will mentor the next generation of leaders. If awarded, funding will cover tuition costs for up to four Ph.D. candidates for five years.

  • Must be an underrepresented minority
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident with a valid Green Card
  • Must comply with all application requirements.
  • Priority consideration given to candidates who submit their application by the priority deadline (Dec. 15)

The Admissions Committee will review all applicants who indicate they are an underrepresented minority and consider them for the program.
